OUR PATRON SAINT

St. JAMES (യാക്കോബ്)
St. James, also known as James the Just (ന്യായപ്രസ്ഥാനായ യാക്കോബ്), was one of the most important leaders of the early Christian Church and is honored as the first Bishop of Jerusalem. He is believed to be the brother of our Lord Jesus Christ and a key pillar of the Apostolic Church. St. James was known for his deep faith, wisdom, humility, and prayer life, and played a vital role in guiding the early Christian community.
He is also traditionally recognized as the author of the Epistle of James in the New Testament, which teaches about practical Christian living, faith with action, and righteousness.
St. James bore witness to Christ through his life and martyrdom and is lovingly remembered as “The Just” because of his holiness and dedication.
In honor of this great saint, our parish is named St. James Syriac Orthodox Church, so that his life and teachings may inspire us to grow in faith, service, and love.
